Katrina Schmidt, CPA, CVA is a Affiliate at Rechtman Consulting since 2024, and serves as a valuation analyst. Katrina’s experience includes forensic accounting, investigations, projections, and preparation for trial. She is also responsible for detailed quality controls procedures at the firm.

Katrina has more than 15 years of forensic accounting, audit, and private equity investment management experience. Prior to joining Rechtman Consulting, her career includes Deloitte, SS&C Technologies, and RSZ Forensic Associates. With a deep knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP), internal controls, financial statements analysis, and forensic and valuation services, Katrina’s service offerings are relevant to many of the engagements that Rechtman Consulting handles.

Katrina graduated from Pace University, Lubin School of Business with both a B.S. in Accounting (Summa Cum Laude) and an M.B.A. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Valuation Analyst.
